Innovative Robotics Solutions for Businesses

Iteration 1.0

Iteration 1.0

Iteration 1.0

This was our first design. We had a hinge in the back that would open. Some of the first flaws we saw was that the balloon would be trapped and there was no need for the Co2 hole.

Our second design had two separate parts, one for the Co2 holder that could be quickly replaced and one for the balloon.

Iteration 1.2

After some quick math, we realized that the balloon holder was too small, so we made it bigger. We also made the hinge an actual hinge, and added bevels on the sides.

At this point, we decided to use a Compressed Air container instead of a Co2 cartridge because the cans we use are ozone safe unlike Co2 cartridge and it (air) can have multiple uses.

Iteration 1.4

We made the chamber for the balloon bigger and added a latch to keep the chamber closed until we needed it open. This is the iteration we brought to regionals.

Iteration 1.5

Iteration 1.3

Iteration 1.4

We placed the hinge wrong, so we moved it to the top. We also increased the gap size on the top, so the flap could fully open. Finally, we also made and tried out the balloon and the mechanism.
